The challenge: One of our French law firm clients, an employment law specialist, was engaged in a dispute between a British former employee of a French group and her former employer. To discuss the matter, the French lawyers had to correspond regularly in English with their UK counterparts. To ensure a perfect understanding of both languages used in this case, they enlisted our services to translate a series of letters and emails written over a period of several weeks, which they needed translation for information purposes: their comprehension.
The solution: These projects did not require enhanced quality assurance. There was no point, then, in offering our Performance Pack solution: our Budget Pack, which includes translation but not proofreading, was enough to provide the client with a sufficient degree of understanding. Just as well, as every project had to be delivered the same day!
The payoff: After sending us the files in the morning, the client received our translation the same day and was able to send a prompt reply. The Budget Pack option also allowed the client to save 30% on our standard Performance Pack price.
