The challenge: This project involved translating a press release and the related presentation. The translations had to be consistent and adhere to the financial terminology used by the client in its previous press releases.
The solution: Once the first file was translated, our CAT (computer-assisted translation) tools allowed the translator to identify repetitions between the two documents. That way we avoid producing different translations of an identical source text.
The payoff: The client received two perfectly harmonised translations. Consistent terminology is an attention to detail that helps maintain the client’s image and credibility.
